Gas-spring arms only balance screens inside their rated range. Weigh your monitor without its stand. The Ergotron LX covers 7–25 lb, so very light screens may float up. The HUANUO dual is listed at 4.4–19.8 lb per arm, the VIVO at 17.6 lb per screen and the Amazon Basics at up to 22 lb.
All four arms use VESA 75×75 or 100×100 mm. Check the back of your monitor for four screw holes in one of those patterns. Monitors without VESA holes need an adapter.
